What is a class like at Canvas 2 Paint?
Classes are held in a relaxed, group setting. An instructor will guide you through replicating the night's featured painting, step-by-step. During the class' break, fun games with prizes are played in order to allow time for paint to dry. Whether you are an aspiring Van Gogh or just looking to explore your creative side, we're pretty confident you'll be amazed at your end masterpiece.
Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages as well as small snacks are available for purchase anytime during the class.
What are the "rules" like during a class?
We have 5 simple rules, that go together hand-in-hand:
1. The first and most important rule is to HAVE FUN.
2. The second rule is to STAY POSITIVE. If you are being negative you're probably not having very much fun and break the first rule anyway. Along with rule two, you must TRUST THE PROCESS...there are a lot of steps to creating a masterpiece and at times you may feel frustrated.
3. That is the best time to follow rule number three; and that is to TAKE BREAKS. We will take at least one group break but if you're feeling yourself become frustrated or antsy, that's the best to to stand up, walk around, go to the restroom, get some fresh are, and just relax.
4. The fourth rule is NO JUDGING. That includes yours or anyone else'. Keep in mind that other than hanging that beauty on a wall, you will never be face-to-face with your painting again. We aren't robots or printers so we will make mistakes and have imperfections in our paintings so don't be too hard on yourself or others...things usually turn out great.
5. The fifth and final rule is that IT'S OKAY TO BE UNIQUE. No one painting will be identical to the original (not even the instructors). If you'd like to change up the colors or objects in the painting that is a-ok. You do you, people. :)
What time should we arrive and how long are the classes?
We suggest arriving about 10-15 minutes early to check in and find a seat. This will also give you time to purchase a beverage and browse our studio. Classes are roughly 2 hours long with frequent breaks and a little extra time at the end to finish your painting if needed.
What is the cost of a class?
The prices range between $25 and $50 depending on the night and painting.
What is included in the cost?
We provide the canvas and paints and the use of brushes, an easel, and an apron. We also offer drinks and snacks for purchase.
What do I wear?
We will provide aprons, but we recommend wearing something you wouldn't be disappointed getting paint on just in case! Canvas 2 Paint is not liable or responsible for any paint that customer's may get on their clothing.
What is your cancellation policy?
All classes are nonrefundable. If you are unable to make your class, you are always welcome to send someone in your place. We do offer a one-time transfer with a $15 transfer fee per registration. Click Here to Transfer. You have up to seven (7) days after your missed class to transfer to a different class with the paid transfer fee. After the seven (7) days have passed, the opportunity to transfer is no longer an option. A registration means each person.
I can't come to my favorite painting! How often do you repeat paintings?
Please let us know! We will keep this in mind when scheduling our classes. You could also consider getting a group together for a private party with the painting of your choice.
Do you offer any promotional deals?
Yes! Sign up for our emails or like us on Facebook! We love to share promotional deals. Promotional deals that are advertised are normally off of standard classes. If applying the promotional deal to a specialty class, the final price with the applied promotional deal will always be $10 more than the standard classes.
What are the terms and conditions for promotional deals?
We offers lots of promotional deals! Only one promotional deal can be used at a time. For example, if we offer a Buy One Get One Free deal, it cannot be combined with any promotional codes that are offered. If a promotional code is used with a BOGO, then you will only be signed up for the promotional code and not the BOGO deal.
